Oggi c’è fermento in molti siti americani di motori e spettacolo, la foto qui sopra (Sipa USA/REX), uno scatto rubato sul set del prossimo film Avengers: Age of Ultron, mostra una moto elettrica (cavalcata da una controfigura di Scarlett Johansson) marchiata Harley Davidson talmente ben rifinita e definita da sembrare un mezzo prossimo alla produzione. Fosse confermato sarebbe un’evento, la casa di Milwaukee sarebbe il primo marchio “tradizionale” di moto a mettere in produzione una moto a zero emissioni. Sarebbe la rottura di un tabù ancor più impressionante che per altri marchi essendo le Harley amate anche per il loro sound specifico. I puristi saranno già sul piede di guerra e molti storceranno il naso ma in ogni caso sarebbe una svolta storica. Che l’elettrico abbia conquistato un altro posto al sole? Speriamo.

Today a lot of excitement in many U.S. websites about motorbikes and showbiz. The picture above (Sipa USA/REX), a stolen shot from the set of the upcoming movie “Avengers: Age of Ultron“, shows an electric motorcycle (ridden by a stunt double for Scarlett Johansson) Harley Davidson branded so well finished and defined to look like a production bike. If confirmed it would be mind blowing, Milwaukee bike maker would be the first “traditional” brand to put into production a zero emissions motorcycle. It would be a taboo braking even more impressive than for other brands since the Harleys are beloved for their specific sound. Purists will be upset, and many will disagree, but in any case it would be a historic turning point. Have Electric motorbikes found another place under the sun? Let’s hope.
