Nissan Leaf affila gli artigli e ora si presenta con un design più forte e deciso e con molti miglioramenti tecnici. Nonostante Tesla sia l’elettrica più famosa, la Leaf dalla sua nascita ha venduto più di 280000 esemplari, dopo ben 7 anni è arrivato il momento di evolvere e al salone di Francoforte vedremo un Leaf dalle linee più scoplite ma le novità sono anche (e soprattutto) sotto la pelle. La nuova elettrica di Nissan ospita a bordo una batteria agli ioni di litio più generosa, capace ora di 40 kW che consentono all’auto di raggiungere un’autonomia di ben 378 km (la precedente arrivava a 250 km). La Potenza sale a 150CV e la coppia a 320 Nm, fattore che dovrebbe renderla più sprintosa nel traffico cittadino. Interessante, poi, la possibilità di scambiare elettricità con un altro mezzo o addirittura alimentare una casa. Oltre a questo, la nuova Leaf vanta dotazioni di serie interessanti, come il parcheggio semi-autonomo, evoluto assistente alla guida e l’e-Pedal, ovvero la capacità di accelerare e frenare con un singolo pedale. Aumentano anche i tempi per la ricarica: 16 ore per chi ha a casa un impianto standard da 3kW, si scende a 8 ore in quelli da 6 kW. Nel 2018 esordirà anche una versione più potente.

Nissan’s new electric car features a more generous lithium-ion battery, capable of 40 kW, allowing the car to reach 378 km range (250 km with the previous one). The Power rises up to 150HP and the torque at 320Nm, which should make it more sporty in city traffic. Interestingly, then, the possibility of exchanging electricity with another vehicle or even powering a house. In addition to this, the new Leaf features impressive range of equipment, such as semi-autonomous parking, advanced driving assist and e-pedal, the ability to accelerate and brake with a single pedal. Charging times also increase: 16 hours for those who have a standard 3kW system at home, it drops to 8 hours at 6 kW. In 2018 will also launch a more powerful version.
