In these days on social networks has appeared a Tesla Model 3 to which it seems that its owner has applied a BMW front grille. We all know that an electric car has no need for a front grille because there is no engine to cool but this action raises an observation: how much does a front grille affect the identity of a car? I’ve made a fun simulation with three proposals using Photoshop. Guess the car? Where does the new (useless) front grille come from?

In questi giorni sui social network è apparsa una Tesla Model 3 a cui pare che il suo proprietario abbia applicato una griglia frontale BMW. Sappiamo tutti che un’automobile elettrica non ha alcuna necessità di una mascherina anteriore perchè non c’è un motore da raffredare ma questa azione solleva un’osservazione: quanto una calandra anteriore influisce nell’identità di una vettura? Mi sono divertito a simulare tre proposte con Photoshop. Indovinate l’auto? Da dove viene la nuova (inutile) griglia anteriore?

Ferrari 308 electric conversion by Electric Classic Cars

After a Porsche 911 Targa and a Range Rover they did it again: guys at Electric Classic Cars in the UK converted an iconic Ferrari 308 gts. Tesla batteries and more than twice the power of the original engine. The finished car is a real fury.

Dopo una Porsche 911 Targa e una Range Rover lo hanno fatto ancora: i ragazzi di Electric Classic Cars in Inghilterra hanno convertito un’iconica Ferrari 308 gts. Batterie Tesla e più del doppio della potenza del motore orginale. L’auto finita è una vera furia.

Electric GT – Ferrari 308 GTE: green with style

An half burned Ferrari 308 GTS saved from the graveyard. Guys at Electric GT have made a great job, giving a new life to this Pininfarina design creature. A crazy cool project making an electric Ferrari with 415 HP, a 5 speed Porsche gearbox (in order to work with the torque of the new engine), a top speed of 156MPH and a range of 100 miles (with the Li-Ion 28.5kWh battery) next to become 200 miles range with a new 75kWh pack.

Una Ferrari 308 GTS mezza bruciata salvata dal cimitero. I ragazzi alla Electric GT hanno fatto un grandioso lavoro dando a questa creatura disegnata da Pininfarina una nuova vita. Un progetto folle e affascinante quello di costruire una Ferrari elettrica con ben 415CV, un cambio manuale Porsche (per reggere la coppia del nuovo motore elettrico), una velocità massima di circa 250km/h e un’autonomia di circa 150km (con le attuali batterie Li-Ion da 28.5kWh) che presto dovrebbero diventare 300km nuove batterie da 75kWh.
