Segway Ninebot Apex One: Segway new way

Unveiled at CES 2020. This is the new high performance motorbike APEX ONE by Segway (part of chinese company Ninebot since 2015). This electric motorcycle has a 110kW (around 150HP) motor, can reach 200Km/h top speed ad covers the 0-100Km/h in 3 seconds.  The design was literally carved in clay by Chen Jiang. It will be in the market at the beginning of 2021.

Svelata al CES 2020. Questa è la nuova moto sportiva APEX ONE di Segway (che dal 2015 fa parte del gruppo cinese Ninebot). Questa motocicletta elettrica è dotata di un motore con potenza massima di 110kW (circa 150CV), può raggiungere i 200Km/h e copre lo 0-100km/h in 3 secondi. Il design è stato creato a mano nella creta da Chen Jiang. Sarà sul mercato ad inizio 2021.

Tesla Model Y: Tesla is getting S3XY

Come detto in precedenza Tesla è diventata S3XY (un gioco di parole dato dai modelli programmati model S, 3, X e ultima la Y). In anticipo sui tempi il SUV di taglia media ha iniziato la sua vita commerciale e sarà in consegna da marzo negli USA. La Model Y, le cui prenotazioni sono aperte da marzo 2019 anche per l’Italia, sarà assemblata negli Stati Uniti, in Cina e in futuro anche presso la fabbrica di Berlino (proteste permettendo). La produzione dei primi esemplari è partita e sono stati diffusi anche alcuni dettagli aggiornati in merito alle prestazioni delle batterie: la versione Long Range 4wd dichiara ora un’autonomia di 505 Km misurati con ciclo WLTP. Rispetto alla Model 3, da cui deriva, la Model Y offre più spazio interno e sarà quindi ordinabile anche in configurazione a 7 posti, pressochè uguali le opzioni relative al powertrain anche se all’inizio saranno previste solo le varianti Long Range 4wd e Performance: quest’ultima dichiara una velocità massima di ben 241 km/h e 3.7 secondi per lo scatto da 0-100 Km/h. Il listino prezzi varia da 63000 e 75000 euro, esclusi eventuali incentivi.

As told before Tesla has become S3XY (a pun given by the programmed models: model S, 3, X and last the Y). Ahead of the times, the mid-size SUV has started its commercial life and will be delivered from March in the USA. Model Y, whose reservations are open from March 2019 for Italy too, will be assembled in the United States, China and in the future also at the Berlin factory (protests permitting). The production of the first units has started and some updated details on the battery performance have also been released: the Long Range 4wd version now declares a range of 505 Km measured with the WLTP cycle. Compared to the Model 3, from which it derives, the Model Y offers more internal space and can also be ordered in 7-seater configuration, the powertrain options are almost the same even if initially only the Long Range 4wd and Performance variants will be provided: the Performance version declares a top speed of 241 km/h and 3.7 seconds for the 0-100 km/h sprint. The price list varies from 63000 and 75000 euros, excluding incentives.

Zero SR/S: green sport tourer bike

Alla fine di febbraio Zero Motorcycles ha presentato la sua nuova sport-tourer SR/S (sorella carenata della SR/F) che unisce prestazioni e versatilità di altissimo livello. Il marchio californiano entra con la SR/S in un segmento che fino ad ora era appannaggio solo di moto di grossa cilindrata con motore termico, e lo fa una moto “di sostanza” in grado di competere non solo in termini di dotazioni tecniche ma anche di autonomia e praticità, pur con alcuni limiti ragionevoli. Come per la sorella naked, il motore è uno ZF 75-10 a magneti permanenti con ben 110 CV di potenza.
La moto monta un pacco batterie centrale agli ioni di litio da 14,4 kWh, ricaricabili in 4,5 ore con il caricabatterie standard da 3 kW e in 1,5 ore con quello rapido da 6 kW. L’autonomia dichiarata è di 323 km, compresi i 3,6 kWh supplementari offerti dalla Power Tank (optional). Di alto livello la dotazione con sistemi elettronici di assistenza alla guida: di serie il controllo di stabilità Bosch comprensivo di ABS, controllo trazione e del freno motore con funzione cornering e il sistema di gestione Cypher III. Due le versioni disponibili: la SR/S standard con caricabatterie da 3 kW, offerta a 20080 euro e la più interessante SR/S Premium con caricabatterie da 6 kW proposta a 24230 euro.

At the end of February Zero Motorcycles introduced its new “sport tourer” the SR/S (SR/F sister) that combines top-level performance and versatility. The Californian brand enters with the SR/S in a segment that until now was only a playground for large-displacement motorbikes with ICE, and comes with a “high level” motorbike capable of competing not only in terms of technical equipment but also of autonomy and practicality, with some reasonable limits. As for the naked sister, the engine is a permanent magnet ZF 75-10 with 110 HP. The bike is equipped with a 14.4 kWh central lithium-ion battery pack, rechargeable in 4.5 hours with the standard 3 kW charger and in 1.5 hours with the rapid 6 kW charger. The declared range is 323 km, including the additional 3.6 kWh offered by the Power Tank (optional). High-level equipment with electronic driver assistance systems: Bosch stability control including ABS, traction control and engine brake with cornering function and the Cypher III management system as standard. Two versions are available: the standard SR / S with 3 kW charger, offered at 20080 euros and the more interesting SR / S Premium with 6 kW charger proposed at 24230 euros.
