Microlino 2.0 NOW ON LINE!

Last week the official announcement arrived, the production of the Microlino 2.0 started in the Cecomp plant in Turin (3000 square meters and 1000 employees). According to the announcement, the first examples will be delivered in Switzerland, Germany and then in the rest of Europe. Compared to the original concept, strongly and openly inspired by the BMW Isetta, there has been an evolution and in fact the 2.0 shows a slightly redesigned design, accompanied by some changes and technical updates. The electric microcar has a 12.5 kW motor and a top speed of 90 Km/h. There will be three versions available Urban, Dolce and Competizione with 3 different battery capacities: 6 kWh, 10.5 kWh and 14 kWh. As for the autonomy, it can reach respectively 91 km, 177 km and 230 km. The Microlino 2.0 is 2.5 meters long and 1.5 meters wide, with 230 liters of space in the trunk and a weight of 435 kg. Price around 12500 euros.

La settimana scorsa è arrivato l’annuncio ufficiale, ha preso il via nello stabilimento della Cecomp a Torino (3000mq e 1000 addetti) la produzione della Microlino 2.0. Secondo quanto comunicato, i primi esemplari saranno consegnati in Svizzera, Germania e poi nel resto d’Europa. Rispetto al concept originale, fortemente e dichiaratamente ispirato alla BMW Isetta, c’è stata un’evoluzione e infatti la 2.0 mostra un design leggermente ridisegnato, accompagnato da alcune modifiche ed aggiornamenti tecnici. La microcar elettrica ha un motore da 12,5 kW ed una velocità massima di 90 Km/h. Saranno tre le versioni disponibili Urban, Dolce e Competizione con 3 diverse capacità della batteria: 6 kWh, 10.5 kWh e 14 kWh. Per quanto riguarda l’autonomia, può arrivare rispettivamente a 91 km, 177 km e 230 km. La Microlino 2.0 è lunga 2,5 metri e larga 1,5 metri, con 230 litri di spazio nel bagagliaiio e un peso di 435 Kg. Prezzo attorno i 12500 euro.

Cupra Born. EV with a Spanish sporty soul

Oggi giornata di presentazioni ufficiali. Ai più attenti non sarà difficile vedere la parentela della nuova Cupra Born con la VW ID3 con cui condivide la piattaforma costruttiva, la Born però ha uno suo stile e una sua identità con una marcata caratterizzazione sportiva in linea con il marchio spagnolo. Saranno disponibili due versioni della Born: la prima con una potenza di 150 CV (110 kW) e una coppia di 310 Nm e la seconda con 204 CV (150 kW) e sempre 310 Nm di coppia. La nuova elettrica spagnola sarà offerta (dal 2022) anche con pacchetto e-Boost che porta la potenza del motore elettrico fino a 231 CV (170 kW). Questo pacchetto sarà proposto su due delle tre varianti della batteria della CUPRA Born. Nel dettaglio:

Non sono stati ancora comunicati i prezzi. La Born sarà proposta anche con contratti di noleggio, con un canone mensile che comprenderà l’uso della vettura e altri servizi correlati. La nuova Born sarà prodotta nello stabilimento di Zwickau (Germania) a partire da settembre.

Today is official presentation day. To the most attentive will not be difficult to see the kinship of the new Cupra Born with the VW ID3 with which it shares the construction platform, the Born, however, has its own style and identity with a marked sporty characterization in line with the Spanish brand. Prices have not yet been announced. The Born will also be offered with rental contracts, with a monthly fee that will include use of the car and other related services. The new Born will be produced at the Zwickau plant in Germany starting in September.

The new Hyundai Ioniq 5

Officially revealed. Here it is the new Hyundai Ioniq 5. It’s a family SUV alternative to the likes of the Volkswagen ID4 and Skoda Enyaq iV, and comes with up to 290 miles of range thanks to its 72.6kWh battery. It has an angular body design with eye-catching headlights featuring four square rings of LEDs. You can get the new Hyundai Ioniq 5 with two different battery options. The Standard Range car comes with a 58kWh battery while the Long Range model gets a 72.6kWh battery that is expected to manage between 290-300 miles on a single charge. Both the Standard Range and Long Range versions of the car comes with a rear-mounted electric motor as standard, but you can have more powerful model with a second electric motor at the front so it is a 4wd. Single motor versions with a 58kWh battery produce 170 HP, while dual motor versions come with 235 HP. The Ioniq 5 is slightly longer than the last Hyundai Tucson, and it’s supposed to have a roomier cabin because there’s a greater distance between its front and rear wheels. In summer 2021 you can place your order.

Rivelata ufficialmente. Ecco la nuova Hyundai Ioniq 5. Si tratta di un SUV familiare alternativo alla Volkswagen ID4 e alla Skoda Enyaq iV, e avrà un’autonomia fino a 460 Km grazie alla sua batteria 72.6kWh. Ha un design spigoloso con nuovi fari accattivanti con quattro anelli quadrati di LED. È possibile avere la nuova Hyundai Ioniq 5 con due diverse opzioni di batteria. La Standard Range viene fornita con una batteria 58kWh mentre il modello Long Range monta una batteria 72.6kWh che si prevede possa permettere tra i 460 e i 480 Km con una singola carica. Entrambe le versioni Standard Range e Long Range della vettura hanno un motore elettrico montato posteriormente come standard, ma sarà disponibile un modello più potente con un secondo motore elettrico nella parte anteriore con trazione 4wd. Le versioni a motore singolo con una batteria da 58kWh hanno una potenza di 170 CV, mentre le versioni con doppio motore arrivano a 235 CV. La Ioniq 5 è leggermente più lunga dell’ultima generazione di Hyundai Tucson, e dovrebbe avere un abitacolo più spazioso grazie ad un interasse maggiore Nell’estate del 2021 si potrà ordinare.

LUNAZ DESIGN Range Rover: history & class electrified

In December 2020 Lunaz Design (a UK company based not far from the Silverstone circuit) has unveiled its latest creation, a full electric Range Rover classic. This car is planned to arrive on the market next summer at a starting price of about 327000 dollars (before taxes). Only 50 will be built in two different specs: “Town” with a single motor mounted on the rear axle and a 60 KWh battery pack and “Country” which has two motors, 4×4 and a 80 kWh battery pack. The “Country” version is expected to manage around 250 miles (about 400 Km) per charge.

A dicembre 2020 Lunaz Design (una società britannica con sede non lontano dal circuito di Silverstone) ha presentato la sua ultima creazione, una Range Rover “classic” completamente elettrica. Questa vettura dovrebbe arrivare sul mercato la prossima estate ad un prezzo di partenza di circa 327000 dollari (tasse escluse). Solo 50 esemplari saranno costruiti in due diverse specifiche: “Town” con un unico motore montato sull’asse posteriore e un pacco batteria da 60 KWh e “Country” con due motori, trazione 4×4 e un pacco batteria da 80 kWh. La versione “Country” dovrebbe permettere una percorrenza di circa 400 Km per carica.

RBW Roadster: taking classic to the future

Il progetto è iniziato a trovando l’azienda giusta con cui lavorare: Zytek Automotive, un’azienda che fa parte di Continental AG. Il risultato finale è che l’azienda ha riunito il meglio dell’artigianato delle auto d’epoca e delle tecnologie del XXI secolo. The all new BMW iX, Bavarian EV SAV

Here it is! The all new electric SAV by BMW. This car is the first model based on a new, modular, scalable architecture on which the future of the BMW Group will be built. Conceived from the outset as purely electric mobility, the iX sees BMW redefining its successful Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) concept. The BMW iX provides an exhilarating driving experience combined with a sense of wellbeing for both drivers and passengers, enjoying the journey with safety all packed in a new kind of luxury. The BMW iX can be compared to the BMW X5 in length and width, and it is almost as low as the X6. From the standpoint of design, it is like no BMW on the market today, this car places the foundation stone for the brand’s design language for next generation EVs. The iX uses the 5th generation BMW eDrive motors, one at the front and one at the rear. BMW is confident of achieving a combined power output in excess of 370 kW or 500 HP from the motors enough to propel the car from 0-62 mph in under 5 seconds. BMW also plans to offer the iX with a 100 kWh battery pack in order to reach a range of more than 600 Km. First BMW iX deliveries are scheduled to commence in late 2021 globally.

Eccolo qui! Il nuovissimo SAV elettrico di BMW. Questa vettura è il primo modello basato su una nuova architettura modulare e scalabile su cui verrà costruito il futuro del gruppo BMW. Concepita fin dall’inizio come mezzo puramente elettrico, l’iX vede BMW ridefinire il concetto di successo del suo Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV). La BMW iX offre un’esperienza di guida esaltante combinata con un senso di benessere sia per i conducenti che per i passeggeri che si godono il viaggio in sicurezza, il tutto racchiuso in un nuovo tipo di lusso. La BMW iX può essere paragonata alla BMW X5 in lunghezza e larghezza, ed è bassa quasi quanto la X6. Dal punto di vista del design, non somiglia a nessuna BMW sul mercato, quest’auto pone la prima pietra del linguaggio stilistico del marchio per i veicoli elettrici di nuova generazione. L’iX utilizza i motori BMW eDrive di quinta generazione, uno anteriore e uno posteriore. BMW conta di ottenere una potenza complessiva superiore a 370 kW o 500 CV dai motori, sufficiente per spingere l’auto da 0-100 Km/h in meno di 5 secondi. BMW prevede anche di offrire l’iX con un pacco batteria da 100 kWh per raggiungere un’autonomia di oltre 600 Km. Le prime consegne di BMW iX sono previste per la fine del 2021 in tutto il mondo.

Totem GT Electric, a brand new classic EV

Dacia Spring: POP EV

dacia_spring_ev_01-1And also Dacia introduces its electric car, a compact with a crossover look and price list following the brand philosophy. The style is nice but with no frills. Despite being a citycar (3.73 meters long, 1.62 meters wide and 1.51 meters high) it has a trunk of 300 liters that doubles by tipping the rear seat. The 33 kW electric motor (44 HP) is combined with a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 26.8 kWh. The range is 225 Km in the standard WLTP cycle and 295 Km in the WLTP City cycle (city driving only), you can increase the efficiency by almost 10% by simply activating the ECO function with a button on the dashboard, the power limit drops to 23 kW and the maximum speed to 100 Km/h. It will be available from spring 2021 with prices around 12,000-13,000 euros.

Ed anche Dacia introduce la sua elettrica, una compatta dal look crossover e dal listino coerente con la filosofia del marchio. Lo stile piacevole ma senza troppi fronzoli. Pur essendo una citycar (lunga 3,73 metri, larga 1,62 metri e alta 1,51 metri)  vanta un bagagliaio da ben 300 litri che raddoppiano ribaltando il sedile posteriore. Il motore elettrico da 33 kW (pari a 44 CV) è abbinato a una batteria agli ioni di litio con una capacità di 26,8 kWh. L’autonomia è di 225 Km nel ciclo WLTP standard e 295 Km nel ciclo WLTP City (solo percorrenza urbana), si può aumentare il rendimento di quasi il 10% semplicemente attivando la funzione ECO con un pulsante sul cruscotto il limite di potenza scende a 23 kW e la velocità massima a 100 Km/h. Sarà ordinabile da primavera 2021 con prezzi attorno ai 12.000-13.000 euro.

Finally VW presented, and made it bookable, its new electric SUV built on the MEB platform (the same used for ID3): the ID4. The new model will arrive at dealerships in early 2021. The versions of the Volkswagen ID.4, planned at the beginning, will be only two, both limited edition: 1ST (First) and 1ST Max, respectively at a price of 48.600 and 58.600 euros, from which any incentives will be deducted. There will be four body colors: ice white, dusk blue, manganese grey and honey yellow. Both the versions share the same technical characteristics: a 204 HP rear electric motor, which pushes the rear wheels, with an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.5 seconds and a top speed (limited) of 160 km/h. The battery is 82 kWh (77 kWh effective), according to the factory data, it allows to cover 520 km per single charge.

Il nuovo modello arriverà nelle concessionarie all’inizio del 2021. Gli allestimenti della Volkswagen ID.4, previsti all’inizio, saranno solo due, entrambi edizione limitata: 1ST (First) e 1ST Max, rispettivamente ad un prezzo di 48.600 e 58.600 euro, cifre alle quali andranno detratti eventuali incentivi. Quattro le tinte della carrozzeria: bianco ghiaccio, blue dusk, grigio manganese e honey yellow. Skoda Enyaq iV: Czech EV SUV

Yesterday, September 1, 2020, in Prague, Skoda unveiled the final version of its Enyaq electric SUV that uses the MEB platform of the VW group and the construction architecture of the next VW ID4. The lineup will have diferent versions: the Enyaq iV 50, with an electric motor mounted on the rear axle, delivering 146 HP (109 kW), and a 55 kWh battery for a range of 211 miles (340 Km). The Enyaq iV 60 with 242 miles (390 Km) range with the 62 kWh battery, and a 178 HP (132 kW) motor. The Enyaq iV 80 with a 210 HP (150 kW) motor and an 82 kWh battery that will have a range up to 310 miles (500 Km). Those looking for 4WD electric SUV will be able to choose between the 80X and RS versions, which mount a second electric motor on the front axle, for a total output of 262 HP (195 kW) and 302 HP (225 kW) respectively. The Enyaq iV RS will accelerate to 62 MPH (100 Km/h) in 6.2 seconds before reaching the top speed at 112 MPH (180 Km/h). Both the RS and 80X will have a range of 286 miles (460 Km) on a single charge. It will arrive in spring 2021.

Ieri, 1 settembre 2020, a Praga, Skoda ha presentato la versione finale del suo SUV elettrico Enyaq che utilizza la piattaforma MEB del gruppo VW e l’architettura costruttiva del prossimo VW ID4. La gamma avrà diverse versioni: l’Enyaq iV 50, con un motore elettrico montato sull’asse posteriore, che eroga 146 CV (109 kW) e una batteria da 55 kWh per un’autonomia di circa 340 Km. L’Enyaq iV 60 con un’autonomia di circa 390 Km con la batteria da 62 kWh e un motore da 178 CV (132 kW). L’Enyaq iV 80 con un motore da 210 CV (150 kW) e una batteria da 82 kWh che avrà un’autonomia fino a 500 Km. Chi cerca un SUV elettrico a trazione integrale potrà scegliere tra le versioni 80X e RS, che montano un secondo motore elettrico all’asse anteriore, per una potenza complessiva rispettivamente di 262 CV (195 kW) e 302 CV (225 kW). L’Enyaq iV RS accelererà da 0-100 Km/h in 6,2 secondi prima di raggiungere la velocità massima di 180 Km/h. Sia l’RS che l’80X avranno un’autonomia di 460 Km con una sola ricarica. Arriverà nella primavera del 2021.
