L’idea era quella di prendere lo stile di una famosa motocicletta degli anni ’70 e di fonderla con la tecnologia moderna, il risultato è una moto elegante, ideale per muoversi dentro e fuori città. L’E-Track ha un motore elettrico da 11 Kw e un’autonomia di circa 160 Km, le batterie sono sotto la sella e sono rimovibili, quindi è possibile caricarle ovunque. Presented by the spanish company Pursang Motorcyle the E-Track has cool flat track design (similar to its sister E-Street) and it’s a fun and agile electric motorbike. The idea was to take the style of a famous motorcycle from the 70s and blending it with modern technology, the result is an elegant motorbike, ideal for moving in and out of the city. Polizia green: Comune di Pistoia su Zero Motorcycles Zero DSR

Recentemente la Polizia Municipale di Pistoia si è dotata di motociclette elettriche prodotte dalla californiana Zero Motorcycles. Le moto in questione sono delle Zero DSR che hanno ricevuto uno specifico allestimento dall’italiana Bertazzoni Veicoli Speciali, con sede a Collecchio (Parma), specializzata nella fornitura di mezzi configurati per le forze dell’ordine,  le moto sono quindi dotate di tutti i dispositivi, delle grafiche  e accessori previsti dalla normativa riguardante le moto di servizio per le polizie locali.

Le Zero DSR sono disponibili sia con pacco batterie standard da 11,4 kWh che con Power Tank con capacità complessiva di 18 kWh, sono dotate di un motore elettrico da 52 kW (69CV) che consente una velocità massima di 163 km/h. L’autonomia in ciclo urbano è di 262 Km (328 con Power Tank), mentre nel ciclo misto (50% urbano e 50% autostradale a 113 Km/h) i dati diventano 169 Km (212 con Power Tank).

Alla fine del 2019, BMW ha mostrato che sta lavorando ad una motocicletta elettrica denominata BMW E-Power. BMW Motorrad ha invitato una selezione di giornalisti europei a guidare il prototipo presso il centro di sviluppo BMW di Miramas, in Francia. Al momento la moto è solo un concept con un telaio specifico, un motore elettrico e alcuni elementi presi dagli attuali modelli in produzione (la parte anteriore da una S1000 RR e la parte posteriore da una R1200 RS). Questa moto pesa circa 296 kg e ha una potenza di 100kW (134 CV). L’azienda tedesca non ha fissato una data per la versione stradale ma ha dichiarato che una produzione non sarà contemplata fino a quando non sarà possibile avere un’autonomia di 200-300 km per singola carica.

In the end of 2019 BMW showed that is working on an electric motorcycle called the BMW E-Power. BMW Motorrad invited selected European journalists to drive the prototype at the BMW Vehicle Development Centre in Miramas, in France. At this time the motorcycle is just a concept with a custom frame, electric motor and some elements taken from actual production models (the front end from a S1000 RR and the rear part from a R1200 RS). This bike weights arond 296 kg and has power of 100 kW (134 bhp). The german company didn’t say a date for the road-ready version but declared that a production will not be considered until it’s possible to have a range of 200-300 km per single charge.

FUELL Fllow: Erik Buell’s second life

Former HD engineer Erik Buell (yes the Buell Motorcycles daddy…) started a new adventure with Francois-Xavier Terny: Fuell Inc. Company started its business with an e-bike called Flluid (non an error, it has a double L) and now is collecting pre-orders for a futuristic motorcycles called Fllow (with double L too). This motorbike will come in two versions, the first one with an 11kW motor, and the more powerful variant with a 35kW (48HP) motor. The bike hasn’t the typical chain or belt transmission setup but of an in-wheel hub motor, this opens up 49 liters of storage space in the middle part of the motorcycle, it also promises urban range up to 150 miles (240Km), fast charge under 30 minutes, and the acceleration of a superbike (0-100Km/h in 2.7 sec). Fuell says the Fllow will be on the road in 2021 for around $11000.

L’ex ingegnere di Harley Davidson Erik Buell (sì, il papà della Buell Motorcycles …) ha iniziato una nuova avventura con Francois-Xavier Terny: Fuell Inc. che ha iniziato la sua attività con una e-bike denominata Flluid (non è un errore, ha una doppia L) e ora sta raccogliendo i pre-ordini per una moto futuristica chiamata Fllow (anche questa con la doppia L). Questa moto sarà disponibile in due versioni, la prima con un motore da 11 kW e la variante più potente con un motore da 35 kW (48 CV). La moto non ha la tipica configurazione di trasmissione a catena o cinghia ma un motore HUB nel mozzo interno alla ruota, questo libera 49 litri di spazio dicarico nella parte centrale della motocicletta, inoltre promette un’autonomia nel ciclo urbano fino a 240Km, ricarica rapida in meno di 30 minuti e un’accelerazione da superbike (0-100 km/h in 2,7 secondi). Fuell afferma che il Fllow sarà sulla strada nel 2021 per circa $11000.

ENERGICA: made in Italy green & fast

La gamma di ENERGICA per il 2020 si è rinnovata nel look e in alcuni contenuti. Tre sono le moto della gamma: EVA, EVA Ribelle e EGO, rispettivamente, naked, streetfighter e stradale sportiva. Il marchio italiano radicato nella regione dei motori per eccellenza con sede a Modena ha fornito le moto per il nuovo agguerrito campionato FIM di MotoE. Si è lavorato molto sullo sviluppo del prodotto ma anche sullo sviluppo della rete vendita. Da segnalare anche il fan e ambasciatore del marchio, un certo Nico Rosberg (vi dice qualcosa?) che pare apprezzare parecchio le doti dinamiche delle moto elettriche made in Italy. La componentistica delle moto Energica è di altissimo livello e il montaggio praticamente sartoriale.

The ENERGICA range has been renewed for 2020 in look and in some contents. There are three motorcycles in the range: EVA, EVA Ribelle and EGO, respectively, naked, streetfighter and street sports. The Italian brand rooted in the “motor valley” based in Modena has provided the bikes for the new MotoE FIM Championship. Much work has been done on product development but also on the development of the sales network. Also noteworthy is the fan and ambassador of the brand, a certain Nico Rosberg (does it remind you something?) that really appreciate the dynamic qualities of the made in Italy electric bikes. Energica motorcycles have top quality components and the assembling is tailor-made .

Ultraviolette F77: electric streetfighter

f77_hero_1_altRecently presented by the indian company Ultraviolette Automotive the F77 is a really cool streetfighter bike powered by a 33HP permanent magnet AC motor. The modular battery pack (can also be removed and charged indoors) has a maximum capacity of 4.2 kW and give the bike a maximum range of 150km while the top speed is limited at 147Km/h it covers the 0-100km/h in 7.5sec. Presentata di recente dall’azienda indiana Ultraviolette Automotive, la F77 è una moto streetfighter davvero affascinante, alimentata da un motore AC a magnete permanente da 33CV. Il pacco batterie modulare (che può anche essere estratto e caricato in casa) ha una capacità massima di 4,2kW e permette un’autonomia massima di 150 km mentre la velocità massima è limitata a 147 km/h copre lo 0-100 km/h in 7,5 secondi. Lightning Strike: powerful and possible

The Energica Ego seems to have finally found a valid competitor: the Lightning Strike. The Strike is the “possible” sister of the exaggerated LS-218 and will be offered in 3 versions. The Standard with the new liquid-cooled AC induction motor with 88HP and 10 kWh battery with a range of about 160 Km and an on-board charger that can be connected to public or domestic chargers, the Strike Mid can cover about 240 Km thanks to the 15 kWh battery and the Strike Carbon with 320 Km range and maximum power that goes up to 117HP with 20 kWh batteries and fast charge function. The prices (currently only for the US market) are democratic: $ 12,000 for the base, the Mid $ 16,000 and the Carbon $ 20,000. It seems possible to have it in Europe in the second half of 2019.

La Energica Ego pare aver finalmente trovato una valida concorrente: la Lightning Strike. La Strike è la sorella “possibile” della esagerata LS-218 e sarà proposta in 3 versioni. La Standard con il nuovo motore a induzione AC raffreddato a liquido con 88 CV e batteria da 10 kWh con un’autonomia di circa 160 km e un caricatore a bordo che può essere collegato a caricabatterie pubblici o domestici, la Strike Mid in grado di coprire circa 240 km grazie alla batteria da 15 kWh e la Strike Carbon con 320 km di autonomia e potenza massima che sale fino a 117 cv con batterie da 20 kWh e funzione di ricarica rapida. Fly Free: green California

La Smart Desert con stile scrambler e la Smart Classic dal look Cafè recer, queste sono le belle motociclette elettriche della Fly Free, piccola azienda californiana fondata nel 2016. Tutte e due le moto montano un motore in grado di spingerle fino a poco più di 80Km/h con un’autonomia di circa 80 Km. Sono moto facili per gli “easy rider” quotidiani.

Veitis E-Drive: electric big twin

The Veitis E-Drive will be officially presented at the Motorcycle Live in Birmingham (from the 17th to the 25th of November) has a vintage custom look, with a nice teardrop shaped (false) tank and a compact body. The real eye catcher, however, is the fake two-cylinder engine that contains the electric motor in the base and the battery packs in the cylinders. The engine delivers a power of 6kW, 112 km/h top speed. The declared range is about 160 km.

La Veitis E-Drive sarà presentata ufficialmente al Motorcycle Live a Birmingham (dal 17 al 25 novembre) vanta un look custom retrò, con serbatoio a goccia e linee compatte. Il vero colpo d’occhio è però il finto motore bicilindrico che contiene nel basamento il motore elettrico e nei cilindri i pacchi delle batterie . Il propulsore eroga una potenza di 6kW, velocità massima 112 km/h. L’autonomia dichiarata è di circa 160 km.

Meijs Motorman: retro green

Chiare le citazioni di un’epoca eroica con un design pulito e minimalista che danno a questo “motorino” un fascino notevole. Ebbene sì la Meijs Motorman rinverdisce i fasti dei motorini che poi sono stati soppiantati dai moderni scooter, lo fa però in chiave green. Un oggetto di design che permette di girare in città a zero emissioni. Omologazione europea L1E, motore elettrico brushless montato al mozzo posteriore (2000W), velocità massima 25 o 45 km/h in base alla versione e di conseguenza anche l’autonomia che può essere di 70-100 km e 50-65 km. Nel serbatoio si nasconde la batteria agli Ioni di Litio da 1,5kWh. Il tutto con un peso complessivo di 45kg. La Motorman è in vendita ad un prezzo di 5950 euro (iva inclusa).

From the idea of Ronald Meijs takes origin the Motorman a light retro styled motorcycle. You can see a strong homage to the classic motorcycles from 1910 with a clear and minimal design that gives this moped a strong identity. The Meijs Motorman is green rebirth of classical mopeds left behind by modern scooters. It’s a cool design thing with a green soul. The zero emission bike ha a L1E European omologation, with an electric (2000W) hub motor in the rear wheel, two versions with two power and range steps: 25km/h top speed and 70-100km range, 45km/h top speed and 50-65km range. In the “false” tank is hidden a 1,5 kWh Lithium-Ion battery. The weight is 45kg.  Price 5950 euros (VAT included).
