Energica Experia, travelling in green style

The Italian Energica Motor Company presented its “green tourer” called Experia. This electric touring bike joins the range of road sports bikes: Ego, EsseEsse9 and Eva Ribelle that have contributed to the brand’s reputation. The Experia is equipped with high level components (such as Brembo brakes) and claims remarkable performances: liquid-cooled synchronous engine with a peak power of 102hp / 75kW, 180Km/h self-limited top speed, 222Km average combined cycle range (up to 420Km in the city).

L’italiana Energica Motor Company ha presentato la sua “green tourer” denominata Experia. Questa moto da turismo elettrica si aggiunge alla gamma di moto sportive stradali: Ego, EsseEsse9 ed Eva Ribelle che hanno contribuito alla fama del marchio. L’Experia è equipaggiata con componenti di alto livello (come i freni Brembo) e vanta prestazioni notevoli: motore sincrono raffreddato a liquido con potenza di picco di 102 CV / 75 kW, velocità massima autolimitata di 180 Km/h, autonomia media nel ciclo combinato di 222 Km (fino a 420 Km in città).

Tesla Model Y: Tesla is getting S3XY

Come detto in precedenza Tesla è diventata S3XY (un gioco di parole dato dai modelli programmati model S, 3, X e ultima la Y). In anticipo sui tempi il SUV di taglia media ha iniziato la sua vita commerciale e sarà in consegna da marzo negli USA. La Model Y, le cui prenotazioni sono aperte da marzo 2019 anche per l’Italia, sarà assemblata negli Stati Uniti, in Cina e in futuro anche presso la fabbrica di Berlino (proteste permettendo). La produzione dei primi esemplari è partita e sono stati diffusi anche alcuni dettagli aggiornati in merito alle prestazioni delle batterie: la versione Long Range 4wd dichiara ora un’autonomia di 505 Km misurati con ciclo WLTP. Rispetto alla Model 3, da cui deriva, la Model Y offre più spazio interno e sarà quindi ordinabile anche in configurazione a 7 posti, pressochè uguali le opzioni relative al powertrain anche se all’inizio saranno previste solo le varianti Long Range 4wd e Performance: quest’ultima dichiara una velocità massima di ben 241 km/h e 3.7 secondi per lo scatto da 0-100 Km/h. Il listino prezzi varia da 63000 e 75000 euro, esclusi eventuali incentivi.

As told before Tesla has become S3XY (a pun given by the programmed models: model S, 3, X and last the Y). Ahead of the times, the mid-size SUV has started its commercial life and will be delivered from March in the USA. Model Y, whose reservations are open from March 2019 for Italy too, will be assembled in the United States, China and in the future also at the Berlin factory (protests permitting). The production of the first units has started and some updated details on the battery performance have also been released: the Long Range 4wd version now declares a range of 505 Km measured with the WLTP cycle. Volta Motorbikes: BCN City

VOLTA-CityEcologica alternativa per moversi in città, la BCN City della spagnola Volta Motorbikes è guidabile con patente A1 o B ed ha un’autonomia di 70km (ma c’è anche la versione che arriva a 100km). Questa moto elettrica spagnola permette una velocità massima di 120km/h è quindi a tutti gli effetti un mezzo “equivalente” ad un moderno 125cc con la differenza che il “pieno” costa poco meno di 1 euro e si può fare in circa 2 ore collegandosi ad una normale presa a 220V con il cavo del caricatore integrato nascosto sotto la parte finale della sella. Nel “serbatoio” trova posto un pratico vano porta casco e un connettore USB. Con un prezzo compreso tra gli 8 e i 9000 euro si può comprare una delle moto elettriche più economiche attualmente in commercio, godere di accesso illimitato a tutte le ZTL cittadine e guidare un mezzo dal design ricercato.

This spanish electric motorcycle has a top speed of 120 km/h, it can be used like a modern 125cc with the difference that to “fill it up” costs less than 1 euro and can be done in about 2 hours by connecting the integrated charger cable hidden under the saddle to a normal 220V socket . In the “tank” there is a practical space for your helmet a USB connector. With a price around 8-9000 Euro you can buy one of the cheapest electric motorbike currently on the market, enjoy unlimited access to all the controlled traffic zone in your town and drive a bike with a stylish design.

Jaguar E-Type Zero: EVergreen

2017_jaguar_e-type_zero_extJaguar presented an all electric restomod E-Type at the Jaguar Land Rover Tech Fest early in September 2017. The car is totally original in specification, apart from its modern powertrain and modified instrumentation. The electric powertrain developing 220kW has been specially designed for this car. Its lithium-ion battery pack has the same dimensions, and similar weight, to the XK six-cylinder engine used in the original E-type and placed in precisely the same location as the XK engine. The electric motor (and reduction gear) lies just behind the battery pack, in the same location as the E-type’s gearbox. A new propshaft sends power to a carry-over differential and final drive. The car is 46kg lighter than the original E-type. The E-type Zero has a range of 270km thanks to the low weight and good aerodynamics. It uses a 40kWh battery, which can be recharged from home overnight (in 6-7 hours, depending on power source). The Jaguar E-type Zero not only drives and looks like an E-type, it also offers outstanding performance. It’s quicker than an original E-type: 0-100km/h in only 5.5sec! More info at: Jaguar.com

E-Type Zero_engine_EVJaguar ha presentato un esemplare elettrico di E-Type al Jaguar Land Rover Tech Fest all’inizio di settembre 2017. L’automobile è un restauro totalmente originale nelle specifice, eccezion fatta per motore e strumentazione modificata (digitale). Il motore elettrico sviluppa 220kW ed è stato appositamente progettato per questa vettura. La sua batteria agli ioni di litio ha le stesse dimensioni e un peso simile al motore a sei cilindri utilizzato in origine ed è collocato nella stessa posizione del motore XK. Il motore elettrico (e riduttore) si trova proprio dietro la batteria, nella stessa posizione del cambio della Type-E. Un nuovo albero di trasmisione invia al differenziale. L’automobile è 46kg più leggera dell’originale E-type. L’E-type Zero ha un’autonomia di 270 km grazie al peso ridotto e alla buona aerodinamica. Utilizza una batteria da 40kWh, che può essere ricaricata a casa durante la notte (in 6-7 ore, a seconda dell’impianto). BMW iVision Dynamic: Bayerische electricity

L’anti-Tesla secondo BMW. A Francoforte, BMW ha mostrato l’ultima novità della serie i: la concept iVision Dynamics. Con una velocità massima di 200 km/h e uno 0-100 in quattro secondi. L’iVision è parte del progetto di ampliamento della gamma BMW per il mercato delle auto elettriche e ibride. Il CEO di BMW, Harald Krueger ha dichiarato:”La nostra priorità è la mobilità elettrica”, la casa dell’elica ha pianificato 25 modelli elettrificati (12 di essi completamente elettrici) entro l’anno 2025. L’iVision Dynamic ha un’autonomia di 600 chilometri, per cui si rivolge dichiaratamente al mercato di Tesla Model S. La casa ha dichiarato anche che l’auto andrà in produzione, sperando che la vettura di serie mantenga il look di grande effetto del prototipo.

The Tesla fighter according BMW. At the Frankfurt auto show, BMW showed the latest addition to its i Series: the four-door iVision Dynamics concept car. With a top speed of 200 km/h and a 0-100 km/h (64 MPH) in 4 seconds. The iVision is part of the company’s plan to bring EVs and hybrids to the market. BMW CEO Harald Krueger said “Our top priority is electric mobility”. BMW is planning 25 electrified vehicles (12 of them fully electric) by the year 2025. The iVision Dynamic has an estimated range of 600 km (373 miles), so it’s clearly targeting the Tesla Model S market. The automaker promised that this car would go into production, we hope with the same stylish design.

VW I.D. Buzz: shocking Bully

Al Salone di Detroit NAIAS 2017 Volkswagen presenta la I.D. Buzz, una concept basata sul pianale Modular Electric Drive Kit (MEB) della concept I.D. mostrata a Parigi. Il richiamo al mitico pulmino Bully è più che evidente e la I.D. Buzz ne ripropone le doti di polivalenza in chiave moderna. Gli interni si possono configurare in differenti modi. Con un semplice tocco al logo Volkswagen al centro del volante, questo si ritrae automaticamente per fondersi con la plancia, mentre 10 scanner laser, telecamere e sensori radar e a ultrasuoni si attivano per prendere il commando. Naturalmente I.D. Buzz è una concept a emissioni zero, con un’autonomia stimata superiore a 430 km e una potenza massima di 275 kW (ben 374CV!):con due motori elettrici, uno davanti e uno dietro, che forniscono una trazione 4WD. La ricarica dovrebbe essere anche wireless e un’innovativa interfaccia, che fonde realtà aumentata e comandi vocali, agevola l’uso dei sistemi di bordo.

Charging should be wireless, and an innovative interface, which fuses augmented reality and voice controls, facilitates the use of onboard systems.

Alla scorsa edizione di EICMA la Armotia ha presentato la gamma 2017 con due grandi fun-bikes: Due-R e Due-X, le prime fun-bike a due ruote motrici. La DUE-R è una trail bike che si avvicina ad una supermotard pronta a darvi emozioni su strada e, perché no, anche fuori strada sui vostri percorsi preferiti con la potenza di due motori elettrici: a magneti permanenti a 3 fasi, flusso assiale nel posteriore e una magneti permanenti 3 fasi, flusso radiale nella parte anteriore. Vespa Elettrica Concept: classic, iconic, green

At EICMA 2016, Piaggio just unveiled the Vespa Elettrica Concept. As the name says the gas motor and fuel tank are gone, now it has an electric motor and a battery pack. Same experience of riding of the Italian classic with zero emissions. A company spokesman told that “the style, agility, ease of use and riding pleasure will be the same as the Vespa we have always known.” The Elettrica will be the first electric scooter that Piaggio has released in 70 years. It’s expected that Piaggio will start producing the Elettrica in late 2017 ahead of the launch in 2018. While Piaggio didn’t announce an official price tag, some are guessing that the Elettrica will line up with other Vespas at the top. Maybe it won’t be cheap, sure You can find much less expensive electric scooters on the market already, but… well, none of them have a Vespa badge.

Ad EICMA 2016, Piaggio appena ha svelato la Vespa Elettrica Concept. Come dice il nome serbatoio e motore termico hanno ceduto il posto ad un motore elettrico e un pacco batteria. Stessa esperienza di guida del classico scooter ma con emissioni zero. Un portavoce della società ha detto che “lo stile, l’agilità, la facilità d’uso e il piacere di guida saranno gli stessi della Vespa che abbiamo sempre conosciuto.” Elettrica sarà il primo scooter elettrico che Piaggio ha prodotto in 70 anni. Si prevede che la Piaggio inizierà a produrre la Elettrica verso la fine del 2017 in vista del lancio nel 2018. Anche se Piaggio non ha comunicato un prezzo ufficiale, molti suppongono che la Elettrica si collocherà con le Vespa al top di gamma. Forse non sarà a buon mercato e di sicuro potete trovare altri scooter elettrici più economici presenti sul mercato, ma… come dire, nessuno di loro si chiama Vespa.
